See our new babies: 11/12/2000

We were the first birds that came into this house.  We have bonded in a previous life and the only way mom and dad could get us, was to get both of us.  Since we have each other, we don't like to leave the cage and let mom and dad play with us much.

We really like Bo.  He even comes in our cage and we chatter some.  We don't talk, but Bo does and so we have a good time with her.

I am Jake the yellow male.  I really hate to have human touch.  I can bite pretty good too.

I am Jazz, the pretty female and I don't mind sitting on my dad's finger.  I don't stay their long, but it is not too bad.  Jake really gets upset when I am out of the cage and I have to get back in with him fast.

We have a palace where we can look out side into the yard.  Since this window is on ground level, the dogs come and look at us.  We don't mind them as long as they stay on that side of the glass.  If you look closely, there is some treats on the ladder.  We really love this stuff and get it once a week.

Kellogg, is across the room from us.  His cage is just like ours and sometimes he gets confused as to where he is supposed to go.  He flies to our cage and then sees his cage and departs for his home.  The boy is so big, the he present an awesome figure in flight and really makes the noise.

Just showing off how pretty I am.

Here Jake is in the nest house that dad put in the cage.

Not a bad place, Momma Jazz, how about some little ones?

Here are the two little ones.  Not many feathers, but are sure alert.  They can hiss and carry on.  They have not learned to do much but eat and sleep.  When they are awake and fed, they like to crawl around their nest box (a five gallon aquarium and look out and see what the world looks like.  They sure eat a lot.

This one looks like a porcupine.
